Hello everybody,
it's Monika here
with the first project of our November challenge: Stencil it!
At this card, I created a stencilled background using two Distress markers for the flowers and two for the leaves.
As I really liked my background I didn't want to hide any part of it, so I decided to use a vellum for the text.
More details on my blog!

Hello Everyone when I saw this months theme was stencil, I was over the moon, well I would be really, wouldn’t I, lol.

September Winner, Top Three & DTSM

Hello everybody!  It's time to announce Miriam's lovely Metal challenge in September.  There were some really fabulous entries and we always love seeing what you're inspired to make by each theme.  So the September winner of our Challenge, Top Three and Design Team Member Special Mention.  Are you sitting comfortably?  Then let's begin!

___________________________

September winner of the £20 Country View Crafts voucher, selected by Random Generator from the challenge entries is...

#33 Gerrina
Congratulations Gerina!  Your badge and prize voucher will be on their way to you very soon.

___________________________

Now on to Miriam's top 3 and DTSM.

We had 42 entries this month and there were so many interpretations of 'metal'.  After much deliberating, my top 3 are as follows:

No. 14 Plony

I love the shabby chic and vintage feel of this card - it shows the softer side of 'metal' and is perfect for a male themed card.

No. 41 Lula

I love this project because the paper has been distressed perfectly to look like metal.

No. 12 Ionabuny
Subtle way of adding metal in a beautiful autumnal themed project.

DTSM
September's DTSM goes to No. 15 Lady Penelope.

Penny has embraced the metal theme and turned a wooden project into a metal dream!  An amazing transformation using different type of 'metal' finishes.
